K1 PLANTING EXPERIMENT

This term, K1 is focusing on topics about “Plants.” For the past two weeks, the children learnt about the different parts of a plant and its life cycle. They were all very eager to learn and understand how the plants grow and what they can do to take care of it. Last week, the K1 children got the chance to take care of their own plant. They planted mung bean seeds and placed it along the dismissal area so as the plants can get enough air and sunlight. The children also watered their plants and watched it grow each day. Surely, the children were able to apply their learnings on how to take care of the plants.
