A Message from Dr Dan

In my very first message in the Community Updates, back in August 2019, I quoted the philosopher Vernon Howard, who said: “Always walk through life as if you have something new to learn, and you will.”

So much has happened since I joined SIS-PIK all that time ago, not least the challenging pandemic we are all living through. I have learned an incredible amount being here – not least that SIS-PIK is a school where a sense of community is at its very core. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ms Jen for her guidance and leadership over the last two years. I am thrilled to be succeeding her as Head Teacher, and I want you to know that whilst we continue to strive for academic excellence in everything we do, this sense of family and community will never change. 

I firmly believe in our school motto – ‘Towards Greater Heights’, and I look forward to working with you all, as we inspire our students to grow into independent, confident and successful young people.
