Originally from a small town in western Canada, I always had a desire to see other countries and cultures. As a university student I went on two extended trips to Europe and soon after graduating with an Education degree I set out for…Indonesia! After getting used to eating manggis, kangkung, and almost any variation of masakan padang, I pretty much decided I had better stay here.
