PRIMARY VIRTUAL LEARNER OF THE TERM
Each term, our primary school students are nominated for the Virtual Learner of the Term award in recognition of their efforts while participating in virtual classes. We believe our students have worked very hard to adjust to virtual learning and they deserve this acknowledgement. Our teachers have come together and nominated deserving students for this award. Not only do we look for students who are all-rounders, but we would also like to motivate others to be role models to their peers. The criteria for the Virtual Learner of the Term award are shown below.
| Criteria | Description |
| Contributions | Constantly provides useful ideas when participating in a virtual meeting. A confident leader who contributes a lot of effort and adds great value to class discussions. |
| Attitude | Always respectful of himself/herself, others, and the teacher, has a positive attitude, and does not criticise anyone else’s ideas or work. Students feel safe participating in his/her presence during Zoom. |
| Preparedness & Focus | Always comes to virtual class on time, follows all classroom procedures, with needed materials ready and is always ready to learn until dismissed. Consistently stays focused during online class work and is diligent in carrying out tasks and responsibilities. Takes ownership of learning and is highly motivated. |
| Quality of Work | Provides work of the highest quality that reflects the student’s best efforts. |
| Behaviour | Student is engaged in virtual learning on a daily basis. Student shows supportive and cooperative behaviour. Motivates other classmates to be active participants in class. |
