CCA PROGRAMME

We are delighted to inform you that CCAs are returning to SIS-PIK. As with every development during the pandemic, we will proceed with caution to ensure that we continue to minimise any chance of transmission on campus.

For Semester 1 we will be running  Co-Curricular Activities/CCA options for every child from K1 to Grade 12. Students will be able to choose a maximum of two CCAs. CCAs will be optional for this Semester, students will not be obligated to choose a CCA. 

To reduce the number of people on campus, our CCAs will be delivered by our teaching staff, not by outside vendors. This allows us to reduce the cost of CCAs significantly. The cost of a CCA for Semester 1 will be a total of 450,000 IDR. This cost covers any resources that may be required, and also ensures that students have made a full commitment to attending each week. Commitment is a key responsibility we wish to develop in children, and having chosen to join a CCA, we expect students to fully participate. The CCA cost is the same for every CCA as it is a nominal fee, considerably cheaper than the CCA fee of vendors. 

The CCA choices will be explained to your children over the next week. You will then receive a signing up form from our system on Friday 2nd September. Many CCAs have limited capacity, and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Once signed up, you have 24 hours to make the payment to confirm your child’s place. If payment is not made within 24 hours, the place will open up for other students. CCAs will commence from 6th September, with Kindergarten and Primary CCAs on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and High School CCAs on Wednesday and Fridays. 

The choice of CCA is only for this Semester. In Semester 2, students will be able to choose all over again, from a new list, which we aim to include outside vendor options. The price for these sessions will reflect the cost of the CCAs.
