Welcome to all parents, students and members of the SIS-PIK community, and thank you for making me feel so welcome since joining you just over a week ago.

My first week at SIS-PIK was an exceptionally warm and heartening experience as I met with the team of talented teachers who work tirelessly to lead our students to success, as well as having the opportunity to see many of our delightful students working hard in their virtual learning classes.

Since graduating from the University of Cambridge, I was fortunate to work at the University as an educational researcher, writer, director of international programmes and teacher training instructor whilst simultaneously supporting students from international schools. These experiences complimented my work over the last fifteen years as a secondary school leader and have really shaped my educational philosophy of ensuring equity for students, based on an understanding that the best schools are ones which blend evidence-based, innovative curriculum and teaching practices with happy, healthy teachers and students; where every individual is given unique support. I am looking forward to helping to support and guide everyone within our community to always be their very best, helping us all to recognise that any difficult times and challenges are a natural, productive part of our learning journey ‘to greater heights’.
