Finding the right path for our students through Life Skills and University Counselling

It is an important time for our JC students as they consider their next steps after graduation. Luckily we have Mr Victor, our Guidance Counsellor, on hand to guide them through the university selection and application process. 

Mr Victor is currently arranging a number of virtual university visits for JC students, so they can understand the different systems across the world. These have proved very useful for previous students, who in the last few years have gone on to top universities in the UK, US, China, Singapore and Australia – to name but a few countries! 

All JC students have been trained on writing CVs, motivation letters and personal statements, and our JC2 are now identifying dream, match and safety university choices. Every week they have classes with Mr Victor and can also arrange 1 to 1 sessions for further individual support. Our goal is to work with our students to help them achieve their aspirations, from the beginning of ‘Basecamp’ in Secondary 1, to the ‘SIS Peak’ of JC2.
