PRIMARY LANGUAGE AND ARTS WEEK
We are delighted to announce our Primary Language and Arts Week on 9-12 March. Students will showcase their talents and what they have learnt in class through subject competitions and Show and Tell.
As a special highlight of the week, on 11th March, our upper primary students will host a Mini Bazaar to replace the Family Day Bazaar. It is also Spirit Day, and we would like the children to wear a statement T-shirt or green coloured T-shirt. There will be stalls of games and stationery in their respected classrooms. All proceeds will go to charity.
We would like to invite all students from Preschool to JC to visit the stalls and spend money (to donate to charity) by playing or buying items from the stalls. Please note that all transactions in the bazaar will be cashless. This will create greater accountability and transparency of money transactions on the day. We will use students ID cards as their eSISPIK Card for all transactions during the mini bazaar.
Parents are encouraged to top up their children’s eSISPIK Card online. Your children can still top up on the D-day (top up online link was emailed yesterday by SIS-PIK Admin system).
Please understand that since this is non refundable eSISPIK Card. Any money left-over will go to charity. To be clear, any money left unspent on student ID cards at the end of the event will be donated to charity. We encourage everyone to be mindful of top-ups on the day. Please encourage your child to only place money on their ID card, that they wish to spend that day. We will keep you informed of how much money we raise and where the money will be donated.
