Learning Mandarin as a second language is challenging for a number of reasons. Writing isn’t the only difficult part of learning the Chinese language, the tonal nature of the language requires more practice too. Interestingly, the hardest language to learn is also the most widely spoken native language in the world. P1B Hope students are eager and excited to learn Chinese every day. They started discovering some vocabulary words, read and write the pinyin. They were struggling at the beginning of the term but now they can follow the lessons.
