CITY UNIVERSITY OF HONG KONG SEMINAR
We are pleased to announce that on Thursday 5th September 2019, our Junior College students had a chance to meet with Ms Heather, from City University of HongKong (CityU), to understand the academic courses and scholarship programs offered. The aim of this session was to expose our students to more university options and scholarship programs. Our students have enjoyed this informative presentation and the invaluable networking opportunity with CityU.

CityU was established in Hong Kong in 1984 and currently it has 20.000 students enrolled in more than 130 programs in their undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
CityU has 7 schools, 23 academic departments and joint Bachelor’s degree programs with Columbia University, USA, National Taiwan University, Taiwan and Leuphana University, Germany. Based on Quacquarelli Symonds World University ranking, CityU is ranked 52th in the World. Based on US News Worldwide and US News Hongkong, CityU is ranked 11th and 1st respectively in Engineering.
CityU offers a four-year program study to Indonesian students who sit for UN and three-year program study (Advanced Standing 1) to those students with the IB Diploma. There are two special funding opportunities at CityU:
- A diversity grant which is available only for students from underrepresented nationalities
- An Outstanding athletes’ Entrance Scholarship.
On top of these two special funding opportunities, they also offer a merit-based scholarship based on students IB or UN results.
