SISwa CARES PEDULI KANKER

On the 3rd of September 2019, Yayasan SISwa Peduli Bangsa (YSPB) held an event where children diagnosed with cancer were invited to Singapore School, Pantai Indah Kapuk. These children are unable to attend school regularly because they have to undergo treatments to treat their illness. Therefore, YSPB invited them to experience ordinary school life. 

The event began by welcoming the children and their guardians in the school lobby. Subsequently, they were briefed on the activities prepared for them. Throughout the course of the day, the teaching staff of Yayasan SISwa Peduli Bangsa accompanied each one of the children. They joined classes based on their age groups and participated in Music, Bahasa Indonesia, and Mathematics lessons. They also colored coloring pages and played in the playgrounds. 

While the children did their activities, their guardians and SIS-PIK parents had their respective itineraries to attend to as well. The main event arranged for the guardians was a workshop with Dr. Edi Setiawan Tehuteru, where he talked about the symptoms and characteristics of cancer. Overall, Yayasan SISwa Peduli Bangsa did their best in providing a wonderful experience for the children of Yayasan Sehati Anak Indonesia.
