SIS-PIK MUN
SIS-PIK MUN III led by Steven Ang Cheong Seng and Patricia Tanujaya has been a huge success! The team of JC1 students who formed part of the committees worked well and were cooperative with each other in fulfilling their roles. A total of 127 participants attended the conference coming from 15 schools in Jakarta. The day started with opening speeches from Jennifer Lim, SecGen of MUN II and our head teacher, Ms Jennifer. The guest chairs and co-chairs also introduced themselves and the issues to be discussed in their respective committees. Two committee sessions ensued in different venues where the delegates deliberated on key concerns to arrive at resolutions before the end of the day. Delegates with outstanding contribution to the committee caucus were recognised as Best Delegate and Honorable Mention. We are lucky to have Fredeline Suganda (SIS-PIK alumni, now a Law student in the University of Sydney), who started the MUN in 2017 as guest speaker for the closing ceremonies.
