WORLD ECONOMICS CUP 2020

On November 28th and 29th 2020, the WEC hosted the World Economics Cup. The competition was conducted online with three parts. On November 28, the WEC 2020 kicked off with exams on Fundamentals and Deep Comprehension. The Fundamentals consist of a test of 100 multiple-choice questions on microeconomics and macroeconomics. Deep Comprehension tests participants’ comprehension abilities to learn and understand new knowledge of advanced economics theories. On November 29, the competitors received the topic for the Thinking and Innovation and took 24 hours to prepare for the team presentation. The competitors demonstrated their innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities to solve general problems in economics.
Twelve of our students from SIS-PIK participated in the competition. This is the first time SIS-PIK joined the competition, and the results are outstanding. We are so proud of our young budding economists. Below are the awards earned by our students. Certificates and awards will be mailed to SIS-PIK soon.
