Reciprocity in Action

It is really important to us at SIS-PIK that the teaching methods we use in our classrooms are based on strong evidence in educational practice. In our parent seminar last week we explored some of the evidence that supports reciprocal activities as particularly effective tools for building student confidence, independence and raising student achievement.

We are currently developing our students to be more effective at supporting each other with their learning. One activity which supports this is ‘Player Coach’. Students learn to coach each other to success. An example video of this can be seen here
