THE SIS PEAK – STUDY SKILLS 

We are very proud of our SIS PEAK advantage.  

Our JC program is carefully crafted to inspire students with the desire to change the world, and help them build the skills to make those changes happen. 

To help prepare our Sec 4s for the SIS Peak, on Wednesday our Sec 4s took part in a very useful session on Study Skills. We were lucky to be joined by Louise Lasky, a Learning Support specialist from the UK. As the Sec 4s near SA examinations and the Pre-lims for IGCSEs, we wanted to support them by introducing them to specific skills to help them with consolidating their learning and revision. Louise’s session began with an interactive activity on note-taking and was followed by mind-mapping skills. These strategies are proven to help students’ revision and should help relieve any pre-exam anxiety! 

At SIS-PIK we provide a pathway for all students to reach Greater Heights. From N1 to JC2, our students are nurtured to develop academic excellence, leadership and a culture of kindness and care. As your child moves through SIS-PIK towards Greater Heights and the SIS-PEAK, they will grow and develop to be the best they can be.
