STUDENT LEADERSHIP WORKSHOPS
During February 2020, 4 sessions of leadership workshops have been held successfully.
Below are details of the sessions including of the topics they have learnt.
Session on 14 February 2020
| Topic | : | Time Management |
| Success Area | : | Students reflect on their own time management on how to differentiate busy vs productive and how they manage their time effectively. Students learned that passion, time, and productivity are connected to each other. |
Session on 21 February 2020
| Topic | : | • Time Management • Creative Skills |
| Success Area | : | Students capable of separating and managing work into 4 different levels of urgency and importance. Students also understand that ideas need to be made and implemented, how to make it happen and impactful. Students showed curiosity when learning about impact and how to make it powerful. Through brainstorming exercise, they start the activity by describing what healthy friendship means to them. |
Session on 22 & 28 February 2020
| Topic | : | • Anchoring • Juxtaposition in Brainstorming |
| Success Area | : | Students are challenged to be creative when doing the juxtaposition in brainstorming. Juxtaposition occurs when two things are placed side by side for comparison, often to highlight the contrast between the elements. Students learn to see contrasts around them every day of two or more things, in order to bring out their differences and try to find how to make it work together. |
