PRIMARY LANGUAGE AND ARTS WEEK

Language and Arts Week was successfully conducted with the theme, “Caring for People, Planet, Prosperity and Peace.” It was the Term 3 culminating activity for our students. Students displayed their prowess in different competitions such as the English Spelling Bee (P1-P6), Mandarin Spelling Bee (P4-P6), Mandarin Show and Tell (P1-P3), Art Colouring Competition (P1-P3), Poster Making Competition (P4-P6). For the first time, Science Quiz Bee (P1-P6), Maths Quiz Bee (P1-P6) and Lomba Cerdas Cermat Bahasa Indonesia (P1-P6) utilised the Kahoot online quiz on iPads. Each category awarded the first three quick-witted and talented students as winners.

To conclude the Language and Art Week, the Upper Primary classes notably carried out the cashless Mini Bazaar. Students used their ingenuity and creativity in putting up amazing game stalls. It was a fun-filled day for students and teachers. Indeed, it was astonishing that these young entrepreneurs raised a far-fetched amount for charity.
