GIVING BACK TO OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY
COVID-19 has been a very challenging time for the health infrastructure of Indonesia. The government is currently doing all it can to respond to this pandemic. The government badly needs volunteers to join the COVID-19 Task Force and medical workers and front liners are at great risk. They need more safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), N-95 masks, hand sanitizer, alcohol and other supplies.
In response to the call of the government, we would like to support the volunteers risking their lives to protect Indonesia. On March 11th, our P4 to P6 students hosted a mini bazaar. We will donate the amount raised by the Upper Primary students: IDR 59,000,000.
We will work together with Anne Avantie Foundation. Anne Avantie is a well-known Indonesian fashion designer through various kebaya collections from her work.
She is now focusing her clothing manufacture on producing protective equipment for medical staff to donate to hospitals. Through our donation, she will be able to provide life saving equipment to those who need our help the most.
