REFLECTING MAKES US BETTER LEARNERS

We have just completed our last week of learning in Semester 1. Our students have done an amazing job to adjust to virtual learning. Last week, we assessed our students through the SIS-PIK Checks. Our students are very technologically savvy and completed the SIS-PIK Checks virtually using breakout rooms in Zoom and Go Formative. It was a success!

Our Primary students completed the SIS-PIK CHECKS with flying colours.

But the learning process in SIS-PIK does not end with the SIS-PIK Checks. Students must focus on their reflections. This activity is designed to give students a chance to reflect on their exam performance, and more importantly, focus on how to improve.

Reflection is one way to help students increase the value of their learning experience.

These are some benefits of reflecting:

  1. To make meaning out of the learning process students are engaging in
  2. To enable students to be more aware of their learning
  3. To help improve the student’s learning performance
