INTRODUCING iPSLE for PRIMARY 6 ASSESSMENT

We are continually looking to how our students can best show their knowledge and attainment. Following two years of Cambridge Checkpoint cancellations due to the pandemic, we are delighted to inform you that from this academic year, our Primary 6 students will sit the prestigious Singapore International Primary School Leaving Examination (iPSLE).

The iPSLE is the international version of Singapore’s Primary School Leaving Examination. This assessment is administered at the end of Primary 6 before students transition to secondary school. The iPSLE is used as a benchmark against Singapore’s academic standards for students in international schools.

We would like to invite all Primary 6 parents to an introductory session to the iPSLE with Ms Junaida and Dr Dan on Monday, 6 September 2021 from 9am – 10am. More details will be sent to Primary 6 parents via email.

This introductory session will include extensive information about iPSLE, how SIS-PIK will support our students in preparation for this assessment, and the benefits for our students as they move on to the secondary level of education with us.
