SCHOOL REOPENING IN JULY 2022
The new academic year starts for students on Monday 18th July. The beginning of term will feature orientation for students – not only for those new to SIS-PIK, but also for our existing students – recognising that, except for the last week of this term, many of our students have not been regularly on campus for a very long time. There will be no access to virtual learning from July 2022, and as per government regulations, all children are expected to attend face-to-face school. We will have lots of support systems in place for both children and parents. Our students will have their homeroom teachers, coordinators, Heads of Year and DHTs to look out for them, and we will host a number of face-to-face events for parents in the first week of school so you can rest assured that your child will be well taken care of. This will include a welcome event with the Head Teacher and the DHTs, and a meeting with your child’s homeroom teacher.
We will be following government health and safety protocol closely, and will continue to ensure that we have the maximum distance possible between desks, acrylic dividers in classrooms and our whole community wearing masks indoors. More details will be provided towards the start of the year.
