CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATION
Saturday 28th January marked a very special occasion in our calendar. Before 2020, the highlight of the school year was always the impressive celebration of the Chinese New Year. However, since we were forced to cancel our in-person event at short notice in February 2020, we have not been able to come together to enjoy the performances and Chinese Food on campus. This year we vowed to bring back this great morning and the Chinese Department pulled out all the stops to make sure it was very memorable indeed. Students from Preschool up to Senior High School delighted with singing, speeches, drumming performances, modern dance pieces and particularly beautiful umbrella dances by Primary 5 and Grade 8. The High School gave us a fashion show, whilst students from each of our school houses ran catering stalls. The event concluded with the traditional lion dance. Gong xi fa cai!
