Dear SIS-PIK Families,

As we approach the end of the school year, this final Community Showcase reflects on the incredible achievements and memorable events that unfolded throughout the month of May. I am delighted to share the remarkable accomplishments of our students, the joyous community events that brought us all together, and the impactful work carried out by our school charity, YSPB.

Let me begin by expressing my utmost pride in our students’ exceptional performance in the World Scholar’s Cup. Each and every one of our participants demonstrated their exceptional knowledge and dedication, resulting in a resounding success, with all our students selected to participate in the Global Round in Seoul.

May also brought us numerous heartwarming community events that further strengthened the bond between our school and families. The Mother’s Day Tea was a delightful affair, filled with laughter, love, and appreciation for the remarkable mothers in our community. 

The Transition Programme for Kindergarten 2 students was a beautiful opportunity for them to experience their next educational milestone. It was heartening to see the excitement and anticipation as they eagerly explored their new environment and met their future teachers. We are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for our students as they progress in their educational journey, and events like these help us achieve that goal.

Furthermore, I want to express my gratitude for the outstanding work carried out by our school charity, YSPB. This issue of the Community Showcase reports on the important work they have undertaken to share awareness and fundraise for childhood cancers. 

As we bid farewell to another successful academic year, an email will be sent to mark the end of term. This email will provide an opportunity to express our gratitude to the teachers who will be leaving us, acknowledging their hard work, and wishing them success in their future endeavours.

Once again, I want to extend my sincerest congratulations to our students for their remarkable achievements, express my gratitude for the unwavering support of our parents, and thank our dedicated teachers and staff for their tireless efforts throughout the year. Together, we have created a vibrant and nurturing community that fosters growth, compassion, and excellence.

Wishing you all a joyful and restful summer break. We eagerly await the opportunity to welcome our students back for another incredible year at SIS-PIK.
