After more than two weeks of rigorous, comprehensive and competitive selection process, which includes applications, a series of interviews, and deliberation, we are excited to share to the community the results of this year’s Student Council Selection. The process was thorough, and we had the privilege of considering outstanding candidates.
The role of Student Council President is an essential and challenging one. After careful deliberation, we have made a decision that reflects our commitment to nurturing leadership and collaboration within our student body.
It is our pleasure to introduce this year’s Student Council Co-Presidents, who we believe will bring a diverse set of skills, perspectives, and experiences to their roles:
Shandeline Sumadi & Bernice Robida
We have chosen to appoint two Co-Presidents this year because we recognise that each of these exceptional individuals possesses unique qualities and strengths that, when combined, will help lead our student body with creativity, inclusivity, and effectiveness. Shandeline and Bernice have shown a deep commitment to our school community, and we are confident that their leadership will have a positive impact.
We look forward to witnessing the initiatives, ideas, and positive changes that Shandeline Sumadi and Bernice Robida will bring to the Student Council in the upcoming year. We believe that their partnership will create a dynamic and supportive environment for all students.

These dedicated individuals have demonstrated a strong commitment to our school community and are eager to serve as representatives of the student body. We have every confidence that their leadership and enthusiasm will bring about positive change and growth throughout the year.
Furthermore, we would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding work and services provided by the previous Student Council (2022-2023), led by Hubert Japarif. Under his guidance, the Student Council played a pivotal role in revitalising campus life after the challenging hiatus caused by the pandemic. Hubert and his team’s dedication and efforts were instrumental in restoring the vibrancy of our school community. We extend our deepest gratitude to them for their remarkable contributions.
As we transition to a new chapter of student leadership, we remain committed to fostering a thriving and inclusive school environment where each student’s voice is heard and valued.
Please join us in congratulating Shandeline and Bernice on their new roles as Student Council Co-Presidents and the rest of the members of the Student Council who will start their leadership term from Term 2 of AY 2023-2024 to Term 1 of AY 2024-2025. We encourage everyone to engage with them as they work collaboratively to represent the interests and aspirations of our student body.
