PRIMARY LEARNING JOURNEY

On October 17, 2023, the students of Grades 1-6 embarked on an exciting learning journey at Skyworld, Renewable Electricity Museum, and Batik Museum in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). Each grade level had a unique and enriching experience that left them with lasting memories.

For Grades 1-2, it was a thrilling adventure into the realm of space exploration. They had the opportunity to create water rockets and then witnessed the awe-inspiring wonders of the cosmos through a captivating 5D space movie.

Grades 3-4 delved into the world of electrical and renewable energy at the museum. Their visit included static demonstrations, simple electrical source demos, robotic showcases, and an immersive 5D movie on renewable energy. These activities sparked their curiosity about the potential of sustainable power sources.

Meanwhile, Grades 5-6 embarked on a cultural journey to the Batik Museum. They immersed themselves in the rich heritage of Batik Nusantara, learnt the intricate art of Batik processing with wax and canting, and engaged in a thrilling treasure hunt, which added an element of excitement to their cultural exploration.

The students cherished this exceptional opportunity for experiential learning outside the classroom. It was a day filled with fun, discovery, and hands-on experiences, providing valuable lessons that will stay with them for years to come. This educational adventure at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) served as a reminder that learning can be both enjoyable and enlightening, igniting their passion for knowledge and exploration.
