A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

At the heart of SIS-PIK Junior High, a remarkable production has been brewing since December. Under the diligent guidance of Ms Gan, students have poured their hearts and souls into bringing the magical world of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ to life. This isn’t just any rendition of Shakespeare’s classic – it’s a musical adaptation by the talented duo of John Jacobson and Audrey Snyder.

From the moment the curtains rise, it’s evident that this isn’t your ordinary school play. The dedication and hard work of the students shine through every scene, every note, and every dance step. But behind this seamless performance lies months of relentless rehearsals, fueled by passion and creativity.

It’s not just the actors who deserve applause; behind the scenes, the BTEC Creative Media and Creative Arts and Design students, led by Ms Widya and Mr Juan, have been working tirelessly to create stunning background scenes and masterful stage designs. They’ve also taken on the task of capturing behind-the-scenes footage, adding an extra layer of depth to the showcase.

But a production of this scale wouldn’t be possible without the support of the entire school community. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ms Andrea, Mr Aris, Mr Yan, all high school teachers, and the admin team for their invaluable contributions. Their support has been the backbone of this journey, helping to turn a vision into a reality.

As the final curtain falls and the applause fills the auditorium, it’s clear that ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ by SIS-PIK Junior High isn’t just a show; it’s a testament to the power of teamwork, creativity, and sheer determination.
