RECOGNITION DAY

Every year Singapore School, Pantai Indah Kapuk recognizes those students who have achieved above expectations in academics and all-around performance on Recognition Day.  The objectives of Recognition Day:

  • Recognizing students who have excelled in their academics
  • Motivating students to do the best in their abilities

This year’s Recognition Day will be held on Monday, 27 May 2019 in the MPH.

  • Primary Recognition ceremony: 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
  • Secondary and JC Recognition ceremony: 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm

The awards to be given during Recognition Day are:

  • Perfect Attendance
  • Prefect Service Award
  • 1st Honor, 2nd Honor, 3rd Honor
  • Model Student
  • Best in Progress
  • Principal’s Award

All the awards will be in the form of medals, trophies, and certificates.

As we get closer to the day, we would like to share with you how we calculate Best in Progress and Model Pupil awards.

In Primary, Core Subject Teachers & Non-Core Subject Teachers use the criteria below to select the student who is Best in Progress and Model Pupil. All teachers enter marks for every student in a spreadsheet. Ms Benilda consolidates the marks for each student’s overall performance to establish the winners.
