STANFORD UNIVERSITY SCHOLARS

From Tuesday, 9 July until Sunday, 21 July, students from SIS-PIK participated in the Stanford Pre-Collegiate International Institutes summer program held at Stanford University, California.  The students were exposed to life as if they were actual students in a US university: they attended classes in the morning and afternoon, had meals at the cafeteria, and slept in a dormitory with students from other countries. They participated in the Multicultural Exchange event as well as the highlight of the program which is the Global Solutions Project. They also watched a San Francisco Giants ballgame and visited the California Science Museum as well as Fisherman’s Wharf.
