HEARTBEAT! BLOOD PUMP, PUMP!

Learning about the human heart is one of the body’s most exciting adventures! Last week, K2 children had some simple hands-on play lessons to understand more about how the heart works. Through these activities they learned how to locate the heart and how to “feel”, “see” and “hear” the heartbeat. They learned how to use a stethoscope properly and took turns to “feel” and “hear” their friends’ heartbeat. They also checked their friends’ pulse on their wrists and necks using their index and third fingers. At the end of the day, K2 children knew the function of the heart.”The heart is like a pump!
