WORLD SCHOLAR’S CUP – SEOUL GLOBAL ROUND 2023
We are thrilled to share the incredible success of our students at the recent World Scholar’s Cup Global Round. 49 students travelled to Seoul to compete at the COEX Artium the week before school started. Our young scholars demonstrated their exceptional talents, knowledge, and dedication, making us immensely proud.
The World Scholar’s Cup is more than just a competition; it’s a global celebration of learning, collaboration, and critical thinking. This prestigious event brings together students from all corners of the world to showcase their academic prowess in a wide array of subjects, including literature, science, history, art, and more.
The Global Rounds are much more competitive, as only those who earned an invite in the Regional Rounds are able to compete. 2,500 of the best students from 45 countries faced up to the challenge. Despite the fierce competition, our students earned 121 Gold Medals, 108 Silver Medals, and five trophies!
Thirty eight of our students earned an invitation to the grand finals: the Tournament of Champions, which will be held 2-7 November, at the renowned Yale University. We wish those participating success and safe travels!
