VALENTINE’S DAY
As the season of love fell upon us, what better time was there to celebrate this year’s beloved Valentine’s day. A day to give love and be loved, this day isn’t purely for couples, of course, but as well as platonic friendships and familial love. No matter the relationship, our batch of prefects hoped that we were able to create an environment where the SIS-PIK community can come together to celebrate Valentine’s Day and dedicate it to sharing sentiments of love, gratitude, and appreciation with one another.
The prefects successfully managed to organise a stall, selling an array of items; from roses and bouquets, chocolates, teddy bears to balloons, and we were delighted to say that we were all sold out! We were also honoured to be able to donate IDR 980,000 from our profit to SIS-PIK’s very own charitable organisation Yayasan Siswa Peduli Bangsa (YSPB), to help those less fortunate than us – as Valentine’s day is something more than giving out lavish gifts to loved ones.
