CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATION

On the morning of 8 February 2025, from 08:30 to 10:00, SIS-PIK successfully held a celebration for the Year of the Snake in the school’s multi-purpose hall (MPH). The event brought together parents, students, and all staff members from the school community.

The entire school, including the lobby, hallways, and MPH, was decorated with festive New Year decorations. Students’ Lunar New Year-themed artwork showcased rich traditional cultural elements. Dr Dan gave a speech to open the celebration. Students and teachers presented various performances, including songs, dances, and a traditional Chinese costume show. Their impressive talent earned enthusiastic applause from the audience. Some enthusiastic Chinese parents also made dumplings on-site, cooked them, and shared them with everyone, which added to the festive atmosphere and cultural experience.

The celebration concluded with a spectacular traditional lion dance, filling the MPH with joy and excitement. This event not only showcased the traditions of Chinese New Year but also promoted cultural exchange within the school community.
