CHINESE ARTS WEEK

Chinese New Year has always been a very important event in our school calendar. To have a better understanding of the celebration, last week different levels of students were exposed to different types of Chinese art techniques.

Students were encouraged to study the culture and beliefs of Chinese people as they experienced Chinese New Year. As students are exposed to the culture, they learnt how to appreciate the culture heritage. This helps them to develop a pride in their own culture or different cultures. 

Along with studying, students also got to express their sense of creativity in design. It was a fun learning experience for students.
