CHRISTMAS CONCERTS
Primary and High School
On the crisp morning of December 14, 2023, the SIS-PIK MPH came alive with the enchanting strains of Christmas music, setting the stage for a memorable celebration. Isabel, seated at the piano, skillfully serenaded the audience, creating a magical atmosphere that resonated with the spirit of the season. The dynamic duo of Ms Junaida and Mr Gareth then stepped onto the stage, extending a warm welcome to students, teachers, and staff gathered for the festive occasion. Their lively introduction marked the beginning of a morning filled with joy, music, and community spirit.
The concert continued with a heartfelt End of Term Message from Dr Dan, the Head of School, reflecting on the achievements and growth of the term. The MPH echoed with applause as Grade 3 students took the spotlight, playing a charming medley of ‘Mary Had A Little Lamb’ and ‘Lightly Row’ using recorders. The festive journey unfolded with Filio from Grade 8A delivering a soulful High School Performance, singing ‘Snowman.’ Grade 2 students added a lively touch with their rendition of ‘Wellerman’. Tian Hao, representing the High School, then showcased his musical prowess with a piano performance of ‘Carol of the Bells.’ Grade 1 students infused the MPH with innocence and joy as they sang ‘Over the Deep Blue Sea.’ The concert took a sentimental turn with the much-anticipated Teachers’ Song, showcasing the dedication and talent of the school’s educators. As the morning concert drew to a close, STUCO Co-Presidents, Bernice and Shandeline, delivered a warm closing message, extending well wishes for a good and relaxing break to the entire SIS-PIK community. The festive journey concluded with Christmas music filling the air during Primary dismissal, leaving a lasting sense of community and holiday spirit in the hearts of all who attended.
