SHANDELINE CHLOE SUMADI – SIS-PIK FASHION DESIGNER
One of our talented Grade 11 BTEC Art and Design students has set the Jakarta fashion world alight with her amazing creations showcased in a high-profile Jakarta fashion show. Shandeline, who is also co-President of our Student Council, designed and created 4 stylish outfits that were featured on November 18 in an event called “Spotlight” – an annual show in the Indonesian fashion industry. The theme was modern and glamorous, but with an injection of Indonesian traditional fabrics. Shandeline used a fabric called Songket from Sumatra in her designs.
SIS-PIK aims to ensure that there are pathways for all students to thrive and be the best in whatever they are passionate about. Our vocational BTEC qualifications allow students to gain hands-on experience in industry. Shandeline loves fashion design so much she also attends JF Art School. We are so proud of her creativity and success.
