ESSEC Competition
ESSEC Business School organises the ESSEC Case Competition every year, where students take on the role of management consultants to solve a real-life business challenge over a two-week period as a group. This competition provides a unique opportunity for senior high school students to gain an introduction to the business school’s teaching methods.

In this global competition, we fielded our Grade 10 and Grade 12 Business students. Team 45, consisting of Zuo Zijie, Edeline Stephandi, Cheng Kexin, Natasya Tanoto, Jiang Jia Xin, and Miley Audrey Wijaya, qualified for the finals held in Singapore. Team 51, comprising Sheng Liyuan (Cynthia), Lulin Zhang, Calliesta Sutedjo, Yu Yuchen, Shi Yuchen (Vansen), and Queensya Andria overcame the intensely competitive field of Senior High School participants and attained certificates of achievement for demonstrating teamwork, critical thinking skills, and business acumen.

Model United Nations (MUN) Conference
Participating in Model United Nations conferences offers students a unique opportunity to engage in global issues, develop critical skills, and collaborate with peers from diverse backgrounds. Gaining recognition in such events highlights their dedication, diplomacy, and ability to excel in a competitive environment. These achievements not only reflect their hard work but also inspire others to take part in similar enriching experiences. Two of our skilled students recently showcased their exceptional skills at Model United Nations conferences.

Asia Youth MUN, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Charlito Rizki Gunawan from Class 8C participated in the 16th Asia Youth International MUN, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 17th to 20th January 2025. He was recognised as the Most Outstanding Delegate in the UNESCO Council, representing South Korea. The conference was attended by nearly 1,000 student delegates from around the globe.

International Junior Math Olympiad (IJMO) 2024
The International Junior Math Olympiad (IJMO) is an international mathematics competition which is held annually. IJMO is organised by SIMCC in collaboration with the National Math Societies in Asian countries to identify and encourage potential young mathematics talents. IJMO aims to provide a Global platform for students to interact and compete against their worthy opponents. IJMO is the ideal platform to showcase every student’s potential and talent in math in the international mathematics competitions arena!

IJMO empowers students with deep conceptual understanding and logical thinking skills and stretches every student’s potential beyond Grade-level, allowing them to better apply much higher level logical and analytical skills to solve challenging problems. VANDA Science Olympiad 2024
The VANDA Science Olympiad was held in May 2024. It is designed to focus on the student’s ability to think critically and creatively to pick out hidden information to aid them in solving the question. It follows the Singapore School Science Syllabus with a focus on higher order thinking skills. This allows participants to do better compared to pure-Olympiad papers since they are familiar with most of the topics. Science Questions in the competition have a strong foundation in scientific knowledge and methodology which include the development of reasoning and analytical skills, decision and problem solving skills, flexible to respond to different context and possessing an open and inquiring mind that is willing to explore new territories and learn new things which are aligned to the desired 21st century competencies. Bronze, Silver, Gold or Perfect Score awardees in VNJSO 2024 were qualified to join VIJSO in December 2024. Congratulations to the following students;
