SIS-PIK PreU PROGRAMME

Upon the successful completion of the May 2023 IBDP Examinations, we have welcomed our Grade 12s back to campus with a Pre-University Course from the 29th May to the 6th June. This is a special programme that SIS-PIK offers for all 12 Graders, with the aim to enrich, support and better prepare them for their next exciting phase in higher education. The subjects offered in this course are curated by our teachers, according to the preferences of our Grade 12s and their chosen major in university. They include subject specific concepts such as data and statistical analysis (Maths), laboratory practicals (Biology), bridge building concepts (Physics), building an app (Computer Science), building an effective promotional mix (Business Management) and filming an advertisement for a promotional mix (Film in collaboration with Business Management). In addition, skill-based sessions such as presentation skills, research techniques, interview techniques, soft skills and time and stress management skills are also covered.

As per the famous quote by Abraham Lincoln “I will prepare and some day my chance will come”, we believe in preparing our 12 Graders well to embrace their new phase in life and with the conclusion of Term 4, we wish them the very best in their future endeavours.
