KARTINI DAY

Our Primary School recently held a warm and joyful celebration for Kartini Day. The students participated with great enthusiasm, presenting poems, singing songs, and walking the runway in a lively fashion show wearing traditional clothing. Each performance reflected their appreciation for R.A. Kartini’s spirit and the values she championed. The school was full of laughter, colour, and pride in Indonesian culture.

One of the most touching moments was the special recognition given to the female Primary school teachers of SIS-PIK. The students expressed their gratitude through simple but meaningful gestures – a heartfelt reminder of the important role women play in shaping the future.

It was a beautiful celebration – not just of history, but of the people who live out Kartini’s legacy every day.
