Cheerleading Japan Open Championships 2025
Congratulations to all the Indonesian teams who proudly represented our country at the prestigious Cheerleading Japan Open Championships 2025! Among them was Victoria Severine Liono from Grade 7, who competed as part of the Cheerleading Junior 1 team (Galaxy-Shooting Star) in the age 8-12 category. We are delighted to share that their team achieved an outstanding 2nd place finish, showcasing their dedication and skill on an international stage. Well done, Victoria and the entire team!



AIS Film Festival 2025
SIS-PIK Shines at the First Australian Intercultural School Film Festival 2025
In May, Mr Stamelos with his Grade 11 BTEC Creative Media and IB Film students proudly represented SIS-PIK at the inaugural Australian Intercultural School Film Festival 2025. The event brought together three participating schools – AIS, SIS-PIK, and BSJ (British School Jakarta) – with over 40 student films submitted and a select number recognised across various award categories.
SIS-PIK students took home several top honours:
Sergio Krey won Best Experimental Film for his short Canon Journey.
Vivienne Augustine Lim, Lindt Valerie, and Chavella Prescovia Kemsky received Best Technical Achievement for their film You’re Next.
Emily Gunawan, Brody Said, Edbert Sukoputra, Weila Ann Fortus Gao, and Sergio Krey earned Best Genre Film for their short Behind the Scene.
Additional SIS-PIK participants included Darren Nicholas Alin and Jennifer Grace Widodo, whose films were also nominated and showcased during the festival.
This marks SIS-PIK’s second major international school film festival appearance—with more exciting screenings to come in Fall 2025!






Garuda Cendekia MUN
We are proud to share that Alexandra Kimberly Prasetyo (Grade 7) has embarked on her Model United Nations journey. She was honoured with an Honourable Mention at GARUDA CENDEKIA MUN, held from 17th to 18th May 2025 under the theme “Unification of the Youth: Strengthening Global Partnership for Future Generations.” Kimberly represented Turkey in the UNICEF Council, demonstrating commendable dedication and diplomacy throughout the conference.

Bandung Model United Nations
Chen Rayhan (Grade 8) was recognised as a Best Delegate at the recent Bandung Model United Nations, held from 1st to 4th May 2025. The event was held under the theme “Global Disparities amidst Rapid Technological Advancements and Humanitarian Conflicts.” Rayhan represented the United States of America in the UNESCO Council.

Charlito Rizki Gunawan (Grade 8) also participated in the Bandung MUN and received a Verbal Commendation. Charlito took on the role of Minister of Defence in the Crisis Council, where he demonstrated great dedication and enthusiasm.

SVP Model United Nations
We are pleased to announce that Giselle So (Grade 9) has been awarded Best Position Paper at SVP-MUN, where she competed against over 30 delegates from a range of schools. Representing Brazil in the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), she addressed the topic “Balancing Freedom of Speech and National Security” and was recognised for her exceptional research and articulation.

Penabur Secondary Tanjung Duren (PSTD) Model United Nations
We extend congratulations to Gwyneth So (Grade 9), who was awarded both Most Outstanding Delegate and Best Position Paper at the Penabur Secondary Tanjung Duren (PSTD) Model United Nations. Competing in the BRICS+ Council as the delegate of Iran, she addressed the topic “Reforming Global Trade: Enhancing Multilateralism and the Integration of Local Currencies.” Gwyneth stood out among more than 16 delegates, including representatives from international schools, and achieved an impressive second place overall.

BINUS School Serpong Model United Nations
We are also delighted to recognise Enrica Tanuwidjaja (Grade 9), for her continued excellence in Model United Nations. Since beginning her MUN journey last academic year, Enrica has actively participated in various conferences and continues to excel. Most recently, at BEEMUN 2025, held from 16th to 27th April under the theme “A Youthful Bloom Towards a Flourishing Tomorrow,” she represented Iceland in the International Labour Organization (ILO) Council and was honoured with an Honourable Mention award.

Jakarta Students Aquatics Championship
SIS-PIK Swims to Glory!
We would like to acknowledge the students who participated in the Jakarta Students Aquatics Championships last 10-11 of May 2025. A big congratulations to the following students for finishing in the top 3 in their respective heats; G1 Chen Ling and Aina Nathania Syah, G6 Oliver Kingdon Yaputra, G7 Victoria Severine Liono, Elmer Diello Xantara, and Richie Ray Rusli. What an amazing performance from our students.
