THE GREAT GATSBY, GALA 2025
On the evening of 17th April, the long anticipated Gala 2025 welcomed guests, students and teachers dressed in all kinds of glamour and glitz. The occasion? That evening was the event of The Great Gatsby– a night charmed with mesmerising performances, uplifting games, dance parties and overall a shimmering evening of time well spent together.

The evening was fittingly opened by talented performers from Grade 7 until Grade 9 students. Not only were the performances unquestionably outstanding, the performers truly showcased their skills and passion which made them shine even brighter.
Performing classic songs such as “I put a spell on you” (by Hyori Dermawan 7D), “If I ain’t got you” (by Jochebelle Kayla Chandra 7E) and “End of the World” (by Jochebelle Kayla Chandra 7E & Anastasia Japutra 7D), these spectacular performances were able to capture the ears and hearts of everyone with swift. An unexpected close to the performance was by a group of Grade 8 boys who put their own unique twist to a trending song “Steve’s Lava Chicken”. A performance that surely lit up the mood before dinner service.

Many foods from pasta, fried rice to burgers were served with a side of refreshing lemon tea and cold water. During dinner service, the photobooth became packed with students and teachers who stopped by to make some memories. Here are some highlights from The Great Gatsby photobooth!

After dinner service, the party continued with some games. Firstly there was the “Get the Item” game where everyone raced to grab a random item as fast as they could to reach first place. There was also the “Lipstick Game” where players had to apply lipstick on their partners blindfolded. Everyone’s attempts were definitely worth an award. The third game was “Balloon Train Challenge” which brought the spirit of teamwork and competitiveness higher than ever.

And finally, the moment everyone was anticipating, the Gala end party! Lights down, music on and everyone danced to celebrate the evening. A memorable way to sign off The Great Gatsby, Gala 2025.
