EDUCATION DAY

Following our successful event in 2023, SIS-PIK was once again a centre of excellence for teacher development and training as we held another ‘Education Day’. This year’s theme was ‘Cognitive Science’, and attendees were provided with the evidence base behind good teaching and learning practice, as well as strategies to develop these in the classroom. Visitors came from many schools across Jakarta, with around 150 attendees in total, and sessions were delivered by our expert team of ‘Teacher Champions’ on topics ranging from ‘Using Brain-based Learning to Facilitate a Successful Learning Environment’ to ‘Spaced Learning and Retrieval Practice’. It was a very engaging day for teachers, education leaders, and parents alike.
