MUN CONFERENCE IN BANDUNG

Our esteemed school’s MUN CCA student delegates had the distinguished honour of participating in the first CBCS (Cahaya Bangsa Classical School) MUN conference held in Bandung on 27-28 April 2024. The conference focused on the theme, ‘Reconciling the Past and Present to Preserve a Shared Future’, which aimed to foster collaborative approaches to achieve sustainable development goals through historical reconciliation, present-day diplomacy, and forward-thinking initiatives. The Grades 7, 8, and 10 students who participated voluntarily prepared themselves by researching, writing their position papers, and delivering their speeches based on the country and council allocation. They had the distinct privilege of engaging in debate, drafting resolutions, and negotiating with other delegates. Our students are eagerly anticipating another MUN conference this year to further hone their diplomatic skills.
