COMING UP
December might be a short month in school, but we still have many things to look forward to!
Examination Reflections – 5th – 7th December
The start of the month begins with very important reflections on the Semester Assessments. Between 5-7 December, students will be going through their assessments, and learning what went well, and what must be their focus for future improvement. These sessions are as important as the examinations themselves as, without proper reflection, students will struggle to improve.
Primary Learning Journeys – Tuesday 6th December
Our Primary School students have an exciting learning journey to look forward to with P1-2 taking a visit to a Toy Factory, and P3-6 visiting Scientia Square Park. All the experiences will promote environmental sustainability and integrate the value of resourcefulness by defining how resources and the act of being resourceful can support the protection of the environment in different production and manufacturing processes. This is part of our commitment to creating an awareness of the importance of environmental sustainability in preparation for their future as global citizens.
House Day and Christmas Celebrations – Thursday 8th December
On this day there will be a celebratory end of term concert and many house activities to build students’ spirit.
PTC – Friday 9th December
All parents and students are invited to attend our end of term Parent Teacher Conference, on the morning of 9th December. This is a vital opportunity for discussing progress with your child’s teachers.
Reports on all of these events will be published in our next Community Showcase, at the end of January.
