CHILDREN’S DAY IN PRESCHOOL AND PRIMARY
PRIMARY
On November 20, 2023, Children’s Day was celebrated at our school under the theme ‘Celebrating Every Child’. The day sparkled with excitement as a mesmerising magic show captivated everyone. Adding to the joy, children came dressed in colourful pyjamas, creating a playful and relaxed atmosphere.
In classrooms, Grades 1 to 3 brought their cherished toys, engaging in delightful show and tell sessions that showcased the uniqueness of each child. Meanwhile, Grades 4 to 6 embraced a bit of nostalgia with a slumber party, featuring their favourite board games.
As the day unfolded, a sense of togetherness enveloped the school during the potluck party at snack time. Children shared homemade treats, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. The joyous laughter and camaraderie echoed the essence of celebrating every child, making Children’s Day a memorable occasion for everyone involved.
PRESCHOOL
Children’s Day is a special occasion dedicated to celebrating the innocence, laughter, and boundless energy of our little ones. This year, we celebrated with a ‘Pyjama Party’. The day is eagerly awaited, as teachers and parents join hands to create a magical environment for the youngest members of our society.
Preschool teachers play a vital role in creating a joyful atmosphere on Children’s Day. Teachers often organise special activities, such as games and a Pinata, to make the day memorable for the children.
Activities in Preschool:
- Arts and Crafts: We encouraged Preschoolers to express their creativity through the simple ‘Pyjama Party’ theme with arts and crafts activities. This not only enhances their motor skills but also gives them a sense of accomplishment.
- Storytelling Sessions and Pinata: Children love to listen to tales of adventure, friendship, and imagination. Engaging stories not only captivate their attention but also promote language development and Pinata games.
