October 2023

COMING UP

As we enter the month of November, we have an exciting array of events and activities lined up for our students at SIS-PIK. We want to keep you informed about all the upcoming events and opportunities your child will be experiencing throughout the month.

Thursday 2nd to Tuesday 7th November: World Scholar’s Cup Tournament of Champions at Yale University in the USA

Fourteen of our outstanding students, who excelled at the Global Round in Seoul in July, will be jetting off to Yale University to represent SIS-PIK at the World Scholar’s Cup Tournament of Champions. We wish them the best of luck and are incredibly proud of their achievements!

Monday 6th to Friday 10th November: Wellbeing Week

During this week, we will focus on the holistic well-being of our students. We’ll work with them to explore how they can support their studies and be more mindful in their daily lives. Their well-being is of utmost importance to us.

Tuesday 7th November: SIS Peak Day – Russell Group University Fair

Our Senior High students are in for a treat as they get the opportunity to meet representatives from some of the UK’s top ‘Ivy League’-style universities. This event promises to be an invaluable source of information and inspiration for our students considering higher education options.

Monday 13th to Friday 17th November: Enterprise Week

Our High School students will dive into activities aimed at building their business know-how. This will be a hands-on experience that can ignite their entrepreneurial spirits and inspire their future career choices.

Monday 20th November: Children’s Day in Preschool and Primary

A day dedicated to celebrating the exuberance and joy of our younger students! We have an exciting morning of fun and entertainment planned, so be sure to join us in celebrating the innocence and curiosity of our little ones.

Friday 24th and Saturday 25th November: Leadership Camp

Our Prefect candidates for 2024 will be put through their paces during this leadership camp, organised by the Student Council. It’s a fantastic opportunity for them to develop essential leadership skills and prepare for their upcoming roles.

We hope this brief overview of November’s events at SIS-PIK has piqued your interest. As always, we encourage your active involvement in your child’s school activities and welcome your support in making these events memorable and enriching experiences for our students.
