TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATIONS

Preschool
Teacher’s Day at Preschool was a delightful celebration filled with joy and creativity! The little ones excitedly crafted special gifts for their teachers, pouring their love into handmade cards and flowers. 

The celebration included an awarding ceremony led by the Prefects, where teachers were honoured for their dedication and care. The kids cheered and clapped, making the moment even more special.

Parents joined in the festivities, bringing treats and snacks to share, turning the classroom into a vibrant party atmosphere. Laughter and music filled the air as families and teachers mingled, celebrating the wonderful bond they share.

This Teacher’s Day was not just about honouring educators; it was a beautiful reminder of community, creativity, and the joy of learning together. The smiles on everyone’s faces truly made the day unforgettable!

Primary
In honour of the dedicated and inspiring primary teachers, the Primary Prefects organised a special Teachers’ Celebration filled with gratitude and appreciation. As part of the celebration, students were invited to write short, heartfelt messages to their respective teachers, expressing their love, admiration, and gratitude for the guidance they receive each day.

Each class participated with great enthusiasm, crafting personal messages that reflected their deep appreciation. These thoughtful notes were then gathered and beautifully compiled into a large Teacher Appreciation Card. The card, adorned with colourful drawings, stickers, and the students’ own words, served as a symbol of the impact their teachers have made on their lives.

Some of the messages included:

• “Thank you for always believing in me!”
• “You make learning so much fun!”
• “I am a better student because of your kindness and patience.”
• “You are the best teacher ever!”

During the celebration, the card was presented to the teachers, who were visibly touched by the outpouring of love from their students. The joy and appreciation were evident as teachers read through the heartfelt messages, each one a testament to the meaningful role they play in shaping the future of their students.

The day was filled with smiles, laughter, and warm moments, reminding everyone of the invaluable bond between teachers and students. This celebration not only recognised the hard work and dedication of our teachers but also fostered a sense of community and mutual respect within the school.

Our teachers left the event feeling cherished and appreciated, with the student-made card serving as a lasting reminder of the profound impact they have on the hearts and minds of the young learners they nurture every day. In addition to the outstanding dance performance by the primary prefects, led by Mr Abdul, the delicious food provided by the Primary parents allowed students and teachers to share a memorable meal together.

High School
The High School Prefects organised a memorable Teachers’ Day celebration for the dedicated educators who have been a guiding light for their students. The event was filled with appreciation, laughter, and a sense of community as students expressed their gratitude for the hard work and dedication of their teachers.

A key highlight of the celebration was the presentation of special awards to the High School teachers, recognizing their unique contributions to the school environment. Awards like “Kindness in Action,” “Iconic Presence,” “Mr. and Ms. Congeniality,” “Penmanship Prodigy,” “Community Impact Award,” and “Most Inspirational” were given, adding a special touch to the festivities.

Adding to the joy of the occasion, the High School teachers surprised everyone with a spirited dance performance from Manado.  Their enthusiasm and energy lit up the room, showing a different side of their personalities and bringing smiles to the faces of their students. The performance created a sense of unity, as teachers and students shared moments of laughter and cheer.

The celebration, with its warm atmosphere and thoughtful gestures, truly showcased the strong bond between the students and their teachers. It served as a reminder of the profound impact teachers have on the lives of their students, making this Teachers’ Day a day to remember.
