COMING UP

We are excited to share what’s in store for the upcoming month of October at SIS-PIK. It promises to be a month filled with celebration, learning, and fun!

Monday 9th October: STUCO Induction Ceremony

We kick off the new term with the induction of our new Student Council (STUCO) for the Academic Year 2023-24. In a special morning ceremony, we will express our gratitude to our outgoing STUCO members, who have done an outstanding job in their roles. They will pass the baton to the newly chosen representatives who will lead the student body in the year ahead.

Friday 13th October: Teachers’ Day

On this day, we will mark International Teachers’ Day with a brief celebration of appreciation from our student body. Throughout the rest of the day, in a unique twist, students will take on the role of teachers, having received expert guidance from our faculty. It promises to be a day of shared knowledge and understanding.

Monday 16th to Sunday 22nd October: Learning Journeys

Get ready for an exciting week filled with activities for all students, from Preschool to Senior High! Details of these thrilling events can be found in this edition of the Community Showcase. 

Friday 20th October: PD Day for Teachers

A reminder that this day is dedicated to Professional Development (PD) for our teachers. School will be closed for students on this day as our educators engage in the latest pedagogical training to enhance their teaching skills.

Monday 30th October: SIS-Peak Day 3: Focus Group 3 & University Fair (Senior High School)

We’re delighted to host the BMI/Times Higher Education Global University Fair at SIS-PIK. This fantastic event, organised by our school’s specialist University Counsellor, Ms Pam, provides invaluable insights into higher education options for our students. 

Tuesday 31st October – Hallowe’en

Hallowe’en is just around the corner! During the daytime, our Preschool and Primary students will enjoy festive activities. In the evening, our High School students will get to enjoy the traditional Halloween event, courtesy of the new STUCO. Expect spooky fun, creative costumes, and a night to remember!
