MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL CELEBRATION
A Moonlit Extravaganza at SIS-PIK
The Mid-Autumn Festival, a vibrant and cherished tradition for many, found its way to our school this year, bringing with it a burst of colours, laughter, and a sense of togetherness that has warmed the hearts of students, teachers, and parents alike.
Our school’s Mid-Autumn Festival celebration is more than just an event; it’s a cultural journey that allows us to connect with the rich heritage of this festival. Students were immersed in the fascinating history and legends surrounding the Mid-Autumn Festival through art projects, mooncake booths, performances from Primary to High School, games, and making the rabbit lanterns.
The school premises were transformed into a wonderland of colourful lanterns and decorations. Each classroom and corridor showcased creative lantern designs, which our students had crafted with enthusiasm. The diversity of lantern shapes and sizes added to the festive atmosphere, and it was a joy to see our school SIS-PIK adorned in such radiant colours.
As we wrap up this year’s celebration, we are left with a sense of gratitude for the opportunity to come together as a school family, appreciate the beauty of the moon, and reinforce the bonds that make our SIS-PIK community so special. The Mid-Autumn Festival reminds us that, like the moon, our loved ones are a constant presence in our lives, even if they are far away. It’s a lesson we will carry with us throughout the year until we gather once again under the moon’s gentle glow.
