SIS PEAK DAY 2

On 12th September, our Grade 10 students gathered for our second SIS Peak event of the academic year. While playing a pivotal role in our students’ success, we are aware that the pathway and subject selection processes can be both daunting and confusing. Our SIS Peak events aim to equip students with all the information and choices available to make a well-informed decision.

During the day, we focused on IB Diploma Programme groups one: language and literature, and two: language acquisition.  

SIS Peak day two served three primary purposes. Firstly, we informed our students how to gain acceptance into a top worldwide university. Secondly, we informed our students about the exciting range of courses we offer, including a number of new potential opportunities for the next academic year. Thirdly, we conducted a group one and two subject fair, where students had access to their future IBDP teachers to probe further lingering questions they still have about their subject choices.  

To conclude the event, students were surveyed to better understand their goals and interests.  Our next SIS Peak day on 30th October, will focus on the IBDP group three subjects – Individuals and Societies.
