MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL
On the evening of September 18th, from 5 to 7 pm, SIS-PIK held a grand Mid-Autumn Festival celebration on campus. The festive fair attracted enthusiastic participation from teachers, students, and parents, creating a lively and warm atmosphere.
During the event, Dr Dan delivered a speech and led the lighting ceremony, symbolising reunion and hope. Following this, teachers and students presented a series of wonderful performances, including singing, dancing, instrumental music, and poetry recitations, which received enthusiastic applause from the audience. The four Houses set up their own booths, offering a variety of food, drinks, and popular souvenirs. Preschool and Primary students also took part in creative lantern-making activities, adding even more joy and colour to the festival.
Under the glow of the moonlight, everyone enjoyed tea, admired the moon, and watched the performances while savouring delicious mooncakes and other delicacies. The entire campus was filled with the rich cultural atmosphere of a traditional Chinese festival, providing a deep and meaningful Mid-Autumn cultural experience. The event also showcased the unity, love, warmth, and cultural heritage of the SIS-PIK community as one big family.
